Pact Signed for Submarine Rescue Report—By India and Singapore
  • They signed this pact at the 5th Defence Ministers Dialogue between India and Singapore.
  • The Submarine Rescue Dialogue was signed to deepen military cooperation between both nations. 
  • The pact was signed by India’s Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Singapore’s Defence Minister, Ng Eng Hen. 
  • Due to this pact, navies of both the nations will be able to extend submarine rescue assistance to each other and to conduct bilateral rescue exercises.
  • Both nations will be able to conduct visits between them to enhance interoperability and proficiency in submarine rescue operations.
