Pact Signed for Submarine Rescue Report—By India and Singapore

Current Context: India and Singapore entered into a pact for Submarine Rescue Report.

They signed this pact at the 5th Defence Ministers Dialogue between India and Singapore.
The Submarine Rescue Dialogue was signed to deepen military cooperation between both nations.
The pact was signed by India’s Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Singapore’s Defence Minister, Ng Eng Hen.
Due to this pact, navies of both the nations will be able to extend submarine rescue assistance to each other and to conduct bilateral rescue exercises.
Both nations will be able to conduct visits between them to enhance interoperability and proficiency in submarine rescue operations.
