  • International Commission on Large Dams (ICOLD) Symposium: It was inaugurated by Union Minister of Jal Shakti, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat. It was organised by ICOLD, Central Water Commission (CWC), Dam Rehabilitation Improvement Project (DRIP) and National Hydrology Project (NHP). The theme for the Symposium was ‘Sustainable Development of Dams & River Basins’

  • India signed a Free Trade Agreement (FTA) or Comprehensive Economic Cooperation Partnership Agreement (CECPA) with Mauritius. This will help Mauritius to evolve as a ‘Hub of Africa’. Also, an LoC of USD 100 million was granted to Mauritius by India to procure defence assets.

The insurance product has an assured maximum sum of Rs 1 crore while the minimum assured sum of Rs 2.5 lakh.
