• ‘Pragyan Bharati’ Scheme: It was launched by the Assam Government. The scheme aims to offer monetary support to College Students of the state. Under this scheme, Rs. 1500 to each of the college student will be given to purchasing the textbooks. Also, Rs 161 crore will be provided for free admissions to around 4 lakh students.

Until now, 600 writers have also received Rs. 50,000 each to help the students in their literary activities.
