Current Context: The 4th edition of the Global Ayurveda Festival was addressed by the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi via video conference.

  • It is being held from 12th to 19th March 2021.
  • While addressing he mentioned the growing global interest in Ayurveda. He also mentioned and appreciated the efforts taken by experts for promoting Ayurveda across the globe.
  • He also highlighted that during the pandemic, demand for ayurvedic products increased to a greater extent.
  • He discussed that National AYUSH Mission has started to promote AYUSH medical systems through cost-effective AYUSH services.
