Current Context: The Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA) has signed MoU with National Small Industries Corporation Ltd (NSIC).

  • They have partnered to boost the exports potential of agricultural and processed food products manufactured by MSMEs
  • The expertise from both the organisations will synergize the activities in the agriculture sector and allied areas thus bringing better value to the stakeholders.
  • Both APEDA and NSIC will promote green & sustainable manufacturing technology for the MSME so that they can develop their units to produce sustainable and green products
  • They will also help MSME clusters to participate in national and international trade fairs
  • Under this MoU, the registered members of APEDA will get assistance under all the NSCI schemes.
  • Both the entities will tackle the current issues being faced by the MSMEs like technology, skill, quality products and market access.
