Current Context: Union Defence Minister, Rajnath Singh participated in Combined Commanders Conference (CCC) 2021.
Combined Commanders Conference 2021
  • The conference was held at Kevadia, Gujarat.
  • The conference focused on the catheterisation of armed forces, making the defence sector self-reliant and combating evolving threats in the country.
  • On the last day of the conference was addressed by PM Narendra Modi. While addressing the conference, he focused on to develop the Indian military into a 'future force'.
  • The CCC is an event of three forces of India i.e. Indian Army, the Indian Air Force and the Indian Navy.
  • At the conference, the exhibition of some of the innovations made by armed forces was also displayed.
