Current Context: India and Uzbekistan commenced a joint military exercise called ‘DUSTLIK II’.
‘DUSTLIK II’-- Joint Military Ex. of India and Uzbekistan
  • The second edition of the joint military exercise between armies of both nations is being held at Chaubatia near Ranikhet, Uttarakhand.
  • The exercise is held to focus on Counter Insurgency (IC) and Counter-Terrorism, thus boosting military cooperation between both countries.
  • 45 Soldiers each from both nations are participating in the ‘DUSTLIK II’ exercise, which is being held till 19th March 2021.
  • The Rezangla Battalion 13 Kumaon will be representing from the Indian side.
