Current Context: According to a study released by the defence website Military Direct, India has the 4th Strongest Military Force with 61 points.

• China is at the 1st rank position with 82 points in the study for having Strongest Military Force in the world. 
• The second and third ranks are gained by the USA and Russia respectively for the same.
• The study was made by considering various factors like budgets, the number of inactive and active military personnel, total air, sea, land and nuclear resources, average salaries, and weight of equipment.
