Atal Innovation Mission Collaborated with CIPS

Current Context: The NITI Aayog’s Atal Innovation Mission (AIM) has collaborated with the Centre for Innovations in Public Systems (CIPS).

• They have entered into a partnership by signing a Statement of Intent (SoI).
• Both the entities have collaborated to promote innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem in the country particularly in the sector of public systems.
• To achieve the motto of the partnership they will make use of their knowledge, experience and the connectivity of CIPS.
• They will develop a database of innovation in the public system to improve public services.
• Through these partnerships, the startups will be benefited as they will be given access to promote their innovations through local administrations.
• Also, AIM and CIPS will address the issues faced by local administrations while delivering services to the community.
• They will also frame and Innovation Learning Management System (iLMS), which will help to promote an innovative environment among students and to enhance the capacity building of teachers and mentors.
• They will organize groups with district and local administrations levels to promote awareness about innovative products. They will also conduct online exhibitions for the same.
