IAF Commanders Conference

Current Context: The Union Defence Minister, Rajnath Singh inaugurated the Indian Air Force’s (IAF) Commander’s Conference.

• The conference was held to address issues related to IAF’s operational capabilities in the near future.
• The conference observed the participation of air officers commanding-in-chief of all commands of IAF, all principal staff officers and all director generals posted at the air headquarters.
• The dignitaries discussed the strategies and policies to improve the operational capabilities of the Indian Air Force
• They also discussed multiple welfares and human resource measures to improve the administrative efficiency of the IAF.
