Current Context: The Information and Credit Rating Agency of India Limited (ICRA) has revised its GDP forecast for India.
India’s GDP for FY22 to be 10-10.5% --- ICRA
  • The rating agency has reduced India’s GDP by 0.5% for FY22.
  • As per ICRA, India’s economy to grow in the range of 10-10.5% for FY22.
  • Earlier, it had projected growth of 10-11%.
  • The reduction in the GDP growth was predicted due to the lockdown situation and restrictions imposed on various activities because of rising in a pandemic situation.
