  • India was represented by Union Health and Family Welfare Minister, Dr Harsh Vardhan in a virtual manner.
  • Union Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan participated in the panel discussion of ‘Focus on Asia: Vaccine production and distribution across Asia’.
  • He addressed the discussion by mentioning India’s vaccine administration program. He also mentioned the two vaccines against COVID 19 namely COVISHIELD and COVAXIN.
  • The summit was held to boost partnership among all nations to tackle pandemic and have a healthy future for all.
