Telangana Health Department signed an MoU with NHA

Current Context: The Telangana Health department signed an MoU with National Health Authority (NHA).

• The MoU was signed to implement Ayushman Bharat-Pradhan Mantri Jan Aarogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY) in the state.
• The guidelines to implement the Ayushman Bharat Scheme in the state will be made by Aarogyasri Health Care Trust.
• The Aarogyasri Health Care Trust will ensure that patients are treated in empanelled hospitals across the State under the converged scheme of Ayushman Bharat – Arogyasri.
