- The MoU was signed for the long-term supply of re-gasified LNG from India to Bangladesh through a cross-border natural gas pipeline.
- The H-Energy will provide supply for LNG to Bangladesh through 250 km ‘Kanai Chatta (West Bengal), Shrirampur (Bangladesh) Natural Gas Pipeline, which will be commissioned in 2023.
- The H-Energy has received authorization from Petroleum and Natural gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB) to build its own and operate Kanai Chatta-Shrirampur natural gas pipeline. The pipeline will connect H-Energy’s LNG terminal in West Bengal passing through various regions of the state and further connecting to the Bangladesh border, which will further allow cross border supply of re-gasified LNG into Bangladesh.
- The H-Energy will be responsible to source LNG and supply R-LNG to Petrobangla, which will further supply R-LNG to the gas-based producers in Bangladesh.
