- The training session will be conducted in 111 training centres spread over 26 states. The programme will grant training to one lakh frontline workers.
- The programme was launched with the aim to keep the nation ready to fight against Corona in its next phase. Therefore, to meet the challenges, the COVID-19 workers will be trained through this programme.
- The training for 6 job roles namely Home Care Support, Basic Care Support, Advanced Care Support, Emergency Care Support, Sample Collection Support, and Medical Equipment Support will be given to the Covid 19 Frontline Workers.
- The ‘Customized Crash Course Programme for Covid 19 Frontline Workers’ is designed as a special programme under the Central Component of Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana 3.0. It is allotted with the financial support of Rs 276 crore.
