India and Bhutan signed MoU

Current Context: India and Bhutan have entered into MoU with an aim to develop cooperation in the area of the environment.

• Both the nations will cooperate with eachother in the area of climate change, waste management etc.
• Due to the MoU, technological and scientific approaches will be shared to maintain the quality of the environment and deal with issues related to climate change, waste management etc.
• Both nations will share best practices to prevent air pollution, chemical management, climate change, waste management etc.
