Current Context: The Union Minister for Food Processing Industries, Narendra Singh Tomar inaugurated the Indus Best Mega Food Park in a virtual manner.
Indus Best Mega Food Park
  • It was inaugurated at Raipur, Chattisgarh.
  • The Indus Best Mega Food Park will grant value addition, long shelf life to the Agri produce, price satisfaction for farmers, excellent storage facility and an alternate market source for the farmers.
  • It will enhance growth in the food industries sector and a source of various employment opportunities.
  • It is set up at the cost of Rs 145 crore.
