Current Context: Pawan Singh: He is a Joint Secretary of NRAI (National Rifle Association of India) and has become the 1st Indian Juror to be selected to officiate an Olympics Games. He is selected as a Juror to officiate the upcoming Tokyo Olympics in Shooting sports events.

• The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has framed a seven-member group to look into compensation package for the domestic players and the other aspects of domestic cricket. It will look after the remuneration of domestic players for the previous season wherein tournaments were cancelled, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The 7 members are: Rohan Jaitley (North Zone), Yudhvir Singh (Central Zone), Jaydev Shah (West Zone), Devajit Saikia (North-East Zone), Avishek Dalmiya (East Zone), and Santosh Menon and Mohammed Azharuddin (South Zone).
