ITRA signed MoU with Gujarat Government

Current Context: The Institute of Teaching and Research in Ayurveda (ITRA), which comes under the AYUSH Ministry entered into MoU with the Government of Gujarat.

• The MoU was signed to enhance unity and cooperation among the institutions which are functioning under ITRA and boost the Ayurvedic education among the entities.
• The institutions functioning in the Ayurveda campus in Jamnagar have been brought under the ITRA umbrella status and are accorded as Institute of National Importance (INI).
• The MoU will pave the way to open research, education in the Ayurveda medicine sector.
