Current Context: The defence officials of India, Sri Lanka and the Maldives held the Trilateral Tabletop Exercise ‘TTX-2021’ in a virtual manner for two days.
‘TTX-2021’
  • The main focus of the exercise was on maritime crimes like curbing narcotics and gaining assistance in maritime search and rescue operations.
  • The exercise also helped to boost mutual understanding and exchanged best practices to counter common transnational crime.
  • The ‘TTX-2021’ was organised and coordinated by Maritime Warfare Centre, Mumbai.
