- At the meeting, Union Minister Kiren Rijiju mentioned the initiatives taken by GOI to grant justice in an affordable and effective manner to the citizens of the country.
- He mentioned that GOI follows the approach of Zero Tolerance to Corruption and Black Money and has adopted a framework supported by a strong institutional mechanism to deal with corruption.
- He also mentioned actions taken by GOI under Disaster Management Act in order to have effective management and containing COVID-19 spread. Therefore, norms were applied to ensure appropriate COVID-19 protocols and medical facilities during the pandemic situation and stop any illegal activities.
- He also highlighted India’s ‘e-LokAdalat’ initiative which is a major tool to offer a fast, transparent, accessible and affordable medium to lodge a complaint and get justice by settling disputes through technology and Alternative Dispute Resolution.
