- ‘Pani Maah’ or ‘Water Month’: It is launched by the Union Territory of Ladakh. The initiative aims to promote the importance of clean water to the community of Ladakh and attain the objectives set under ‘Jal Jeevan Mission’. Under the ‘Pani Maah’ initiative, three approaches will be adopted namely focusing on water quality testing, planning and strategizing water supply, and seamless functioning of Pani Sabha in villages.
