‘Cleancity app’--North Delhi Municipal Corporation (NDMC)

Current Context: The North Delhi Municipal Corporation (NDMC) has launched the ‘Cleancity app’.

• The app was launched by North Delhi Mayor Raja Iqbal Singh.
• The mobile app will help the resident of Delhi to file complaints about picking up garbage in their surrounding area.
• The app will enable the community to look after the GPS location of garbage-lifting vehicles, they can register for the complaint to collect the garbage from their surroundings and also can give suggestions to improve the service.
• The app facility will be availed by residents of Civil Lines Zone, Keshavpuram Zone and Rohini Zone.
• Along with this app, the NDMC has motivated municipal school students to discourage the use of plastic and make others aware of the harmful use of plastic.
