‘My e-Haat’ Online Portal—HCL Foundation

Current Context: The HCL Foundation launched an online portal named ‘My e-Haat’.

The HCL Foundation is the corporate social responsibility entity of HCL Technologies.
The ‘My e-Haat’ online portal will provide an empowerment platform for artisans and primary producers.
It will enhance the value chain of the handicraft sector of India.
The platform will allow artisans and primary producers to present their work, business or products directly to customers.
The online platform will reduce the informal intermediaries and the long supply chains entities.
The platform will also grant individual recognition to the artisans and primary producers for the work they perform by directly inducting them on the portal with customers.
Until now, more than 30 partners from eight states with over 600 products are listed on the portal.
