- The TAPAS initiative belongs to the National Institute of Social Defence (NISD), Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment.
- The course is available free of cost and can be gained from anywhere through login into the portal.
- Currently, 5 courses are inducted in TAPAS: (a) Drug (Substance) Abuse Prevention (b) Geriatric /Elderly Care (c) Care and Management of Dementia (d)Transgender Issue (e) Social Defence Issues.
- The main objective of the courses under TAPAS is to enhance the knowledge and skills for the capacity building of the participants. The course is open for anyone who wants to enhance knowledge about the topics free of cost.
