Climate Action and Finance Mobilization Dialogue (CAFMD)

The CAFMD will help to enhance India-US bilateral cooperation in the domains of climate and environment.
It was launched by Union Minister of Environment, Forest and Climate Bhupender Yadav with U.S. Special Presidential Envoy for Climate (SPEC) in New Delhi, John Kerry.
The CAFMD is one of the two major goals of India and the USA namely India-U.S. Climate and Clean Energy Agenda 2030 partnership and the other one is Strategic Clean Energy Partnership.
It will work to make nations aligned with swift climate action by adopting resilient economic development.
It will take into consideration national circumstances and sustainable development priorities.
It will provide various opportunities to both nations to work jointly in climate change by addressing their financial aspects.
It will also give the way for green collaborations for both nations.
