Current Context: Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi addressed the 76th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) held in New York.

  • While addressing the session, PM Modi discussed the pandemic situation and its impact on economy.
  • He mentioned that there is a need to eradicate terrorism by enhancing cooperation among the nations.
  • He also highlighted that ‘When India grows the world grows, when India reforms, the world transforms’.
