‘Appscale Academy Programme’

Current Context: The tech giant Google in partnership with the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) announced to launch ‘App scale Academy Programme’.

• The program aims to grant startups the ‘next stage of growth’.
• The program aims to help early to mid-stage startups in India develop high-quality apps for the entire world.
• Under the program, 100 startups will be trained through a customized curriculum. The training will be given through virtual webinars, self-learning material, mentorship lessons from industry professionals.
• The ‘App scale Academy Programme’ will focus on 6 areas: App Quality, Go Global, Growth, App Design, Google Play Policy, and Data Safety Best Practices.
