- India has made a clean sweep of its annual awards. For the first time, India has won in all eight categories of the award.
- The winners were decided as per the poll which was conducted online from 23rd Aug to 15th Sep 2021.
- The votes from the national associations, who are represented by their captains and coaches, counted for 50% of the overall result.
- The share of the media in the online vote was 25% while the remaining 25% was shared between the fans and players.
- The winners are:
- Player of the year (Men): Harmanpreet Singh
- Player of the year (Women): Gurjit Kaur
- Goalkeeper of the year (Men): PR Sreejesh
- Goalkeeper of the year (Women): Savita Punia
- Rising Star of the year (Men): Vivek Sagar Prasad
- Rising Star of the year (Women): Sharmila Devi
- Coach of the year (Men): Graham Reid
- Coach of the year (Women): Sjoerd Marijne
