IGRUA and Drone Destination signed Pact with Haryana

Current Context: The Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Uran Akademi (IGRUA) and Drone Destination have signed a pact with the Government of Haryana.

• The pact was signed for the initiative called ‘DRIISHYA’ (Drone Imaging and Information services of Haryana Limited).
• The pact will allow conducting drone training sessions in the state.
• Various survey activities and imaging work will be implemented through ‘DRIISHYA’.
• Currently, IGRUA and Drone Destination operate at 2 satellite campuses namely in Manesar Haryana and Bengaluru, Karnataka.
• The trio partnership will enable IGRUA to offer expert drone training sessions in the state.
• The new drone policy 2021 will be utilized in this partnership.
