Karnataka Signs 3 MoUs with Infosys

Current Context: The Karnataka's Department of Higher Education announced to sign 3 MoUs with IT giant Infosys.
Karnataka Signs 3 MoUs with Infosys
  • The MoUs will be for developing skills among students as per the National Education Policy (NEP-2020).
  • The MoUs will help the state government to make use of 'Infosys Springboard'. The 'Infosys Springboard' is an integrated digital literacy program of Infosys which is comprised of 3,000 skill development courses for college students.
  • The MoUs will also allow the state government to make use of 'Campus Connect', which will allow digital learning abilities among faculty members of the college and will impart professional guidance to the students.
  • The MoUs will allow donations of 15,000 de-bonded computers to colleges from Infosys.
  • The MoUs will offer support to the colleges to implement NEP 2020 and boost their talent with technical and professional skills.
