RailTel signed MoU with C-DoT

Current Context: The RailTel Corporation of India Ltd (RailTel) has signed MoU with the Centre for Development of Telematics (C-DoT).

• The MoU was signed to work together in the telecom sector.
• Their major focus will be on the modernization and expansion of communication networks in India.
• The RailTel is a PSU in neutral telecom infrastructure providers in India. It owns a Pan-India optic fiber network of 60,000 route kilometers on exclusive Right of Way (ROW) along the Railway track.
