  • India signed MoU with Russia for Di-Ammonium Phosphate (DAP) fertilizer supply. The MoU will help to stabilize the price of DAP. The MoU will reduce India’s dependency for DAP on Jordan, China, and Morocco.
  • ‘Global Financial Stability Report 2021’: It was released by IMF. The report discusses the adaptation of cryptocurrencies in the markets. It discussed ‘Cryptoization’. As per the report, Crypto-adaptation leads to many challenges pertaining to the financial stability of the country. The returns from non-stable crypto assets are volatile in nature. The most dominant cryptocurrency is Bitcoin. The report also mentions that there are insufficient payment systems, unethical macroeconomic policies in the crypto nation.
