Jai Bhim Mukhyamantri Pratibha Vikas Yojana

Current Context: The Government of Delhi has launched ‘Jai Bhim Mukhyamantri Pratibha Vikas Yojana’. Under the scheme, the Delhi government will provide free coaching to 15,000 students who belong to marginal communities and economically weaker sections of the society.

• The scheme is framed for school going children who wish to become doctors, engineers, civil servants or serve any other government jobs in future
• The students whose parents annual income is upto Rs 8 lakhs can avail the benefit of the scheme
• For the execution of the scheme, the Delhi government has made partnership with 46 private coaching centres
• The scheme will cover the coaching for exams like UPSC, CDS, banking exams, medical and engineering
• The students will also be provided with Rs 2,500 stipend amount
