Mukhya Mantri Udyam Kranti Yojana--- Madhya Pradesh

Current Context: The government of Madhya Pradesh has launched ‘Mukhya Mantri Udyam Kranti Yojana’.

• The scheme was approved by the cabinet chaired by CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan.
• The scheme aims to connect the state’s educated youth community to self-employment.
• The scheme was launched for the youth with a minimum qualification of 12th pass to the age between 18 to 40 years.
• Under this, the youth can set up industries, businesses by availing loans with low-interest rates from banks.
• The projects between Rs 1 lakh to Rs 50 lakh in manufacturing units and Rs 1 lakhs to Rs 25 lakhs in service units or the retail sector can avail the benefit of the scheme.
• There is no need for any collateral security under the scheme to avail of the loan.
