  • ‘Koozhangal’, is the name of Tamil Nadu’s film and it will be screened at the Indian Panorama segment in the 52 International film festival Goa. The film has also received India’s official entry for Academy Award for Oscars.
  • The country’s first-of-its-kind fisheries business incubator was inaugurated in Gurugram, Haryana by Union Minister of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying, Parshottam Rupala. It will help to support fisheries start-ups under real market-led conditions. The name of the incubator is LINAC- NCDC Fisheries Business Incubation Centre (LlFlC). It is built at the cost of Rs. 3.23 crore under Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana (PMMSY). The National Cooperative Development Corporation (NCDC) is the implementing agency of the incubator.
  • ‘Op Hercules’: It is the name of a joint airlift exercise conducted by the Indian Air Force and Indian Army. The exercise helps to strengthen logistics supply in the North sector. It also helps to enhance winter stocking in operation areas. The C-17, IL-76, and An-32 aircraft were used as the platform for airlift.
