Current Context: India's first International Arbitration and Mediation Centre (IAMC) was inaugurated by Chief Justice of India, N.V. Ramana, and Telangana Chief Minister, K. Chandrasekhar Rao.
India's First International Arbitration and Mediation Centre (IAMC)
  • The IAMC is set up at VK Towers in Gachibowli which is an information technology hub.
  • It is 25,000 sq ft temporary accommodation and the permanent land for the building will be accommodated at Puppalaguda in Hyderabad.
  • The IAMC has thus enhanced the ADR (Alternate Dispute Resolution) landscape of the country.
  • The IAMC will help to resolve issues that occur due to the lack of sufficient judges in the law system.
  • It will help to settle commercial disputes.
