Current Context: The ‘Milk Price Incentive Scheme’ was launched by the Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, Pushkar Singh Dhami in Dehradun.
‘Milk Price Incentive Scheme’
  • The scheme grants incentives to around 53,000 people of the state.
  • Under the scheme, the state government will spend Rs 444.62 crore which will be utilized to open 500 milk sales centers.
  • Basically, it is the Direct Bank Transfer (DBT) scheme which means that the amount will be directly credited to the beneficiaries linked bank accounts.
