Current Context: The Delhi Police launched an e-learning platform named ‘Unnati’.
‘Unnati’- An e-learning platform
  • It was launched by Police Commissioner of Delhi, Rakesh Asthana at the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) Auditorium, New Delhi.
  • The platform was launched under the ‘YUVA’ scheme of the Delhi Police.
  • The ‘Unnati’ is an e-learning and certification initiative in which education and skill training will be given to school dropouts from the weaker sections of society.
  • The courses based on digital literacy like basic computer courses, study courses for competitive exams, sports courses, and many more will be granted via the platform.
  • Under the platform, counseling and placement for trainees will also be given.
  • The live recording sessions will also be uploaded for the students, which they can refer if they miss out on any live sessions.
