J&K gov. signed MoU with Century Financial

Current Context: The government of UT of Jammu and Kashmir signed MoU with Century Financial.

• The MoU was signed to enhance current efforts to strengthen Hospitality & Tourism Industry in UT.
• Century Financial is UAE’s pioneering financial services company.
• In this MoU, Century Financial will be investing $100 million in J&K.
• The funds will be used to construct 3 hotels and one commercial cum residential complex.
• This will give a boost to the economic and policy reforms in UT and will uplift its Hospitality & Tourism Industry which is affected due to the global pandemic.
