Current Context: The Meta’s CEO, Mark Zuckerberg announced that the Meta is developing an Artificial Intelligence (AI) Supercomputer.

  • The AI supercomputer is termed as ‘AI Research SuperCluster (RSC)’.
  • It will be used to train machine learning systems.
  • It is termed to be the world’s fastest supercomputer and is about to complete in 2022.
  • It will be equipped with 16,000 graphics-processing units.
  • It will allow AI researchers of Meta to develop better AI models, work across 100 different languages, analyze text, images, and videos and develop augmented tools.
