MoU Signed Among SBI, IGNCA and NCF

Current Context: The tripartite MoU was signed among the State Bank of India (SBI), Indira Gandhi Centre for the Arts (IGNCA), and the National Culture Fund (NCF).

• The MoU was signed for the Development of Atmanirbhar Bharat Centre for Design (ABCD) at L1 Barrack, Red Fort, in Delhi.
• The Project ABCD aims to promote and celebrate the products which have GI (Geographical Indication) signs.
• This will help to enhance and boost Economic Value Addition to the GI signed products.
• The project is implemented by IGNCA through the NCF Fund.
• The SBI will sponsor the project as a CSR model.
• The SBI will grant Rs. 10 crores for the implementation of the project.
