Current Context: A Decentralised Waste Management Technology Park has been inaugurated at New Jaffrabad, East Delhi.

Decentralised Waste Management Technology Park

Waste to Wealth Mission in collaboration with the East Delhi Municipal Corporation (EDMC) inaugurated the park.
IT has the facility for onsite processing of fresh Municipal solid waste. The pilot program consists of the following:-

End-to-end solutions for waste management
Semi-automated segregation of municipal solid waste
on-site compaction and treatment of the waste
conversion of open dumpsites to decentralized waste processing sites.

Aim - Zero waste and zero energy which can be replicated.
Waste to Wealth Mission is a mission of the Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India.
