- Pema Khandu, Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh attended the valedictory ceremony of the 4-day annual conference of Superintendent of Police(SP) and Commandants of AAPBn/IBRn and Arunachal Pradesh Police(APP). He asked the police department to play an active role in implementing eILP version 3 in the state.
- The eILP version 3 which is being developed has provisions for auto-generation of eILP permit. CM requested police officials posted on the Assam-Arunachal border to play positive roles and cooperate to facilitate early solutions to the vexed boundary issue.
- CM complimented the police department for effectively dealing with the crimes related to drugs. He also lauded the department for making progress in ensuring the surrender of insurgents. He also added that a surrender policy will be launched to rehabilitate surrendered insurgents through government programs.
- CM requested the police to use available technology to be an active part of the digital world to deal with the emerging trends of crime.
