- The total cost of the project will be Rs 12,000 crore including the cost of mobile phones, three years of internet, and other services. The Mukhyamantri Digital Seva Yojana was announced by the Chief Minister of Rajasthan Ashok Gehlot in this year's budget.
- Under this scheme, 1.35 cr women heads of families enrolled in Chiranjeevi Health Insurance Scheme will be given smartphones with internet connectivity for three years.
- The project will be implemented by Rajcomp a state-owned company. The mobile phone to be given will support the dual SIM feature and will come with one SIM that is already active in its primary slot, which cannot be changed.
