- Nepal's President Bidya Devi Bhandari conferred the title of Honorary General of the Nepali Army to the Indian Army Chief, General Manoj Pande. Since 1950, India and Nepal confer Honorary titles to each other's Army Chiefs. In 2021, Nepal's Army Chief, General Prabhu Ram Sharma was also conferred with the title of Honorary General of the Indian Army by the then President of India, Ramnath Kovind.
- Minister of State (MoS) for Commerce & Industry, Anupriya Patel laid the foundation of 'Chunar Logistics Park' in Mirzapur, Uttar Pradesh. As per Patel, the objective of the Park is to assist the local exporters, importers, and traders.
- An Rs. 860 billion contract was awarded to Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) and Larsen & Toubro (L&T) for building 5 Polar Satellite Launch Vehicles (PSLV). The contract was awarded by New Space India Limited (NSIL), the commercial arm of ISRO.
- The Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari, issued the Motor Vehicles Non-Transport Vehicles Visiting India Rules, 2022. The vehicles operating under these rules have to carry a valid: Registration Certificate; Driving License or International Driving Permit; Insurance Policy; Pollution Under Control Certificate.
- Liz Truss became the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom by beating her opponent Rishi Sunak by over 20,000 votes. She has become the 3rd woman to become the PM of the UK after Theresa May and Margaret Thatcher. She was the Foreign Minister under Boris Johnson's government.
