- In the event, the German Federal Minister Schulze announced additional funding of EUR 3.5 million for the implementation of SDGs in the states of India.
- Svenja Schulze also congratulated India on holding the Presidency of the G-20 Summit in 2023 and said that it will further pave the way to strengthen the cooperation between India and Germany in the field of sustainable growth and climate action.
- NITI Aayog is the policy think tank of the Government of India which was established in 2015 to replace the Planning Commission and is headquartered in New Delhi. Chairperson of the NITI Aayog is PM Narendra Modi, Vice-Chairperson is Suman Bery and the CEO of the NITI Aayog is Parameswaran Iyer.
