India’s first Night Sky Sanctuary is to be set up in Hanle, Ladakh A three-way MoU was signed earlier this year among the Union Territory administration, Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council (LAHDC), and the Indian Institute of Astrophysics (IIA), Bengaluru for launching the Dark Space Reserve.
Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), in collaboration with Kendriya Vidyalaya, organized Jigyasa 2.0 for spreading awareness regarding renewable fuels. Under this program, the students and teachers will visit the CSIR laboratories and will participate in mini-science projects.
The first-ever US-Pacific Island Country Summit will be hosted by the US. The Summit will be held from 28th to 29th September in Washington.

The former Chairperson of the Tata Sons, Cyrus Mistry passed away in a tragic car accident while traveling from Ahmedabad to Mumbai. He was 54 years of age.
Eminent Historian, B Sheik Ali passed away. He was the first Vice Chancellor of Mangalore and Goa Universities. He was conferred with Golden Jubilee Award and Rajyotsava Award.
