  • Under this scheme, the state government will spend around Rs. 69 crores as the premium for the first year.
  • Oriental Insurance Company has signed an agreement for being the insurance partner.
  • The main aim of the scheme is to support the health expenses which are faced by people.
  • Dr. R.S. Sharma who is the CEO of the National Health Authority was the guest of honour.
  • It is a state-specific welfare scheme that is categorized into two parts- CMHIS Employees and Pensioners (EP) and CMHIS (General).
