- The portal will act as a one-stop solution to avail formal sector credit from banks.
- SAFAL will provide complete visibility of demand and disbursal of formal credit in a data-backed manner to the state government.
- At the event, CM Naveen Patnaik said that the portal will simplify the loan application process, hence significantly benefitting both, the farmers and the bank by reducing information asymmetry.
- SAFAL has also been linked to the Krushak Odisha portal and will have access to more than 70 model project reports.
